Morning greetings
doesn't only mean saying Good Morning,
it has a silent message saying:
I remember you when I wake up!
Have a nice day!
Friendship is seldom found on earth—
At least we've heard it said—
For, when enjoying pleasant mirth,
We seldom need its aid.
Is Friendship, then, an empty dream—
A phantom in disguise—
A vision only to be seen
By those of double eyes?
Or is it really felt or found
By those in deep distress—
Like rain upon the parched ground,
Or barren wilderness?
Ye who have felt the bitter pang
Of unrelenting grief,
Tell me, when Friendship never sprang
To offer you relief?
When, like the solitary dove
In woodbine, all alone,
Your pensive notes of absent love
Have caus'd your heart to moan,—
Has not the hand of some kind friend
Assuaged your troubl'd breast?
Has no one offered to defend,
Or aid you when distress'd?
Is Friendship only felt at best
Where plenty reigns supreme;
And seldom to be found the guest
Of poverty unseen?
Oh, no! disint'rested friendship can,
And has been found, we know—
A purer, sweeter friendship than
This earth can e'er bestow.
A friendship that is undefiled
Flows down from heaven above;—
Then seek it, as a little child
First seeks its parents' love.
I value our friendship,
yet I don’t know what it
is that upset you so.
We argue like a married couple
and passionate we are with our
beliefs –
I wish this friendship would work.
For your friendship is of great
importance to me:
you’ve seen me through
rough times, and did not
abandon me like a rag
yet now we’ve abandoned
the friendship like old paper
and I wish it was not so.
Abandonment because of
argument seems wrong.
It isn’t with the click of fingers
that all that happened
will vanish into thin air.
Things would work
if only you gave a bit more
extra time for it to work.
I want to make it work, and
all I am saying is sorry –
you’ve earned a special place in
my heart.
You took me to the hospital,
you cared for me.
Please don’t abandon this
friendship for where will
we be without this friendship?
For we helped each other through.
This friendship is not a rag,
nor a drag though at times
it may seem a nuisance;
it is precious for me and for you.
Time will let heal the wounds –
just give it some period
and distance before we
settle into this new era.
When you are sad,
I will dry your tears.
When you are scared,
I will comfort your fears.
When you are worried,
I will give you hope.
When you are confused,
I will help you cope.
And when you are lost,
And can't see the light.
I shall be your beacon
Shining ever so bright
This is my oath.
I pledge till the end.
Why you may ask?
Because your my friend.
Time To Say Good NightBurying all 'day fights'
Far deep beneath,
The earth's crest,
Letting peace to reside,
In the world's chest.
This sweet moonlight,
Dipping the world in,
Happy and cheerful fest,
Of peace, silence and rest.
Telling us all to be quiet,
It is time to sleep and say,
Good Night.
